Stainless steel couplingA mechanical part used to connect two shafts (driving shaft and driven shaft) in different mechanisms to rotate together to transmit torque. In high-speed and heavy-load power transmission, some couplings also have the function of buffering, damping and improving the dynamic performance of the shafting. The coupling is composed of two halves, which are respectively connected with the driving shaft and the driven shaft. The general power machine is mostly connected with the working machine by means of a coupling.
Couplings are used in a variety of different host products, and the surrounding working environment is more complicated, such as temperature, humidity, water, steam, dust, sand, oil, acid, alkali, corrosive media, salt water, radiation, etc. One of the important factors to consider when shafting. For the working quality of high temperature, low temperature, oil, acid and alkali medium, it is not suitable to choose the flexible coupling with general rubber as the elastic element material, but should choose the flexible coupling of the metal elastic element, such as diaphragm coupling, Serpentine spring couplings, etc.
Features of stainless steel coupling:
1. It is made of high-rigidity aluminum alloy or stainless steel, which has strong torsion rigidity and torque.
2. The elastic effect formed by slit cutting can absorb eccentricity, deflection and axial deviation.
3. Super concentric circle consistency and low inertia, performance that can be exerted in a high-speed running environment.
4. Zero clearance.
5. Clockwise and counterclockwise rotation are the same, no maintenance required.
6. Good oil resistance and chemical resistance.
Precautions for installation of stainless steel coupling:
1. Make sure to calibrate and adjust when installing the coupling.
2. When the axis deviation during use exceeds the allowable value, the coupling may be deformed, resulting in shortened service life or damage.
3. When installing the coupling, please adjust so that the axis deviation is below the allowable value recorded in the performance of this product.
4. The permissible value of axis deviation in the performance record refers to the situation when only one of "radial", "angular", "axial", and deviation occurs. When two or more axis deviations occur at the same time, the allowable response values are halved respectively.
5. Deviations do not only occur in equipment assembly. Vibration, thermal expansion, bearing wear, etc. during the working process will all reduce deviations. Therefore, in order to extend the service life of the coupling, it is recommended to set the shaft center deviation to less than 1/3 of the allowable value.
